Experience enhanced healing and reduced pain.

We use regenerative injection techniques to help you recover faster.

Our Approach

The types of regenerative medicine we utilize includes: prolotherapy, microneedling, and platelet rich plasma (PRP).  Injections are made up of vitamins, minerals, sterile saline, glucose solution, or autologous blood (your own platelets).  These techniques are often used for conditions that may be more difficult to treat or are not responding to traditional acupuncture treatment.

What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative medicine is a promising medical field that is used to treat a range of conditions, including chronic pain. It is the biological process of replacing, repairing and regenerating human cells and tissues to restore proper function and relieve pain symptoms. It targets the underlying source of pain without relying on medication or surgery, and leads to increased function and mobility with a shorter recovery time than surgical options. While traditional medicine (i.e., pain prescription and over-the-counter medication) focuses on managing chronic pain, regenerative medicine focuses on repairing tissues and strengthening tendons in the joints to minimize pain and enhance healing.

Benefits Of Regenerative Injection Therapies

  •  Accelerated Healing: Regenerative medicine boosts the body’s own healing abilities by concentrating them and precisely targeting them to where they’re needed most.
  • Reduced Inflammation & Pain Naturally: If you have been dealing with chronic pain, your doctor may have prescribed anti-inflammatory medications that come with a slew of side effects.  Regenerative injections have no side effects other than the slight discomfort from the injections.
  • Increased Functionality: Regenerative medicine promotes the production of collagen in the body which strengthens tendons & tissues.  When the tendons and tissues surrounding a joint are strong, range of motion in the joints in increased allowing you to move throughout your day with more ease.
  • Faster Recovery: Regenerative medicine contains growth factors or stimulates the body to produce growth factors that jumpstarts the repair process in tendons & tissues.  This allows you to recover faster and return to your normal activities faster and safely.

Types Of Regenerative Medicine We Offer:

Each regenerative medicine treatment has a unique set of properties.  Explore the treatments we offer below:

Microneedling

Microneedling Therapy also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), and Percutaneous  Collagen Induction (PCI), is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of the Acumicro needling pen. The mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled injury at a specific depth. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the bodies natural healing process to fill these micro wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. In addition, new capillaries are formed for improved blood supply. Microneedling results in the production of new collagen and elastin, improvement in skin tone and texture, firmness as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of the patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. In this way, PRP injections use each individual patient’s own healing system to improve musculoskeletal problems.

PRP injections are prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of your own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These activated platelets are then injected directly into your injured or diseased body tissue. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is a cutting-edge form of regenerative medicine that is leading the way in helping to treat both acute and chronic injuries, as well as difficult-to-resolve joint pain. Studies suggest that you can benefit from prolotherapy if you have TMJ (temporomandibular dysfunction of the jaw), arthritis, a torn ligament, tendonitis, a bulging disc, or pain in any susceptible area such as your neck, lower back, knee or shoulder. Prolotherapy is an injection procedure that helps resolve tiny tears or injuries to connective tissue located throughout the musculoskeletal system (ligaments, tendons, muscle fibers, fascia and joint capsules).
